Now, it IS True, DSL is NOT for everyone. Several people, after taking one my basic courses, have told me that while they think the program has a lot of great material in it, it was not for them. ... Why? Because they did not want to make the commitment of time, intense thinking, and physical energy necessary to be able to Master DSL EdgeWork.

 

And it IS, without question, true. You must go beyond the normal limits of most continuing education programs to learn DSL EdgeWork. It is not something you can learn in a few hours. So DSL might not be for you.

 

And that's not necessarily a problem. With many of the available techniques and modalities out there, you can help a LOT of people without learning DSL EdgeWork. Much good is done for people with many of the better known modalities available.

 

However, if YOU are looking for a state-of-the-art system that will help put You on the Leading Edge of BodyMind Therapies, of Neuromuscular and Myofascial Techniques, of psychologically and structurally oriented approaches to helping people, if you want ot have something unique and highly effective for those few peeople who are not responding to the available therapies, and if your Life Purpose motivates you to go the extra mile, then DSL just might be right for you.

 

I estimate that over the next 12 to 15 years, because of the time commitment involved, I will only be able to work extensively with about 144 people. That's 12 groups of 12 people. That, along with managing and writing for this web site, will keep me VERY busy. ... Maybe TOO busy.

 

So, once I get to 12 fully committed people in your region of the country, that will be IT for a few years. Even if I wanted to, I will not be able to work with more people. Mainly because I refuse to reduce the quality of personal contact I think is necessary to help people learn DSL as fully as possible.

 

So I urge you to take a look at this program and see if it is right for you. It might not be long before it is not available.

 

 

PREMISES of DSL Sciences: When a new Student or Client walks into your studio, how do you SEE and KNOW what’s happening in their unique bodymind? How do you KNOW the dynamics of particular postures or exercises and their affects on their body? How do you practice the 1st Law of Healing: Do No Harm by not causing injury? How do you then proceed to Maximize their Positive Results, while Facilitating Preventive Care?

 

DSL doesn’t say “This is a bone, and this is a muscle.” We look at real life situations — such as a slouched posture or low back pain — and work backward from there, so you have Real World Contexts in which to learn and understand the Sciences, a far more effective way to become educated. Your understandings of bones, muscles, fascia and nerves will emerge organically from the ground up as you learn to see and understand overall function and dysfunction.
