WHAT THE HECK IS WHITELISTING?

The Spam Filters, though well-intended to keep your email box free of unwanted emails from unwanted sources, will often prevent email that you HAVE requested — stuff that you WANT — from getting through. ... Which means that if you WANT DSL email to get to your email box, you MUST take precautions to make sure that happens.

If you are not familiar with the process of Whitelisting, this page will help minimize the possibility of NOT receiving email that you WANT. ... ESPECIALLY DSL email!!!

*******************

SIMPLY PUT, for Whitelisting, all you have to do is make sure that the email addresses you WANT to receive email from are entered into your address book BOTH on your computer AND at your email service provider.

Here is a list of email addresses you might be receiving from DSL EdgeWork:

???@dsledgework.com
???@dsl-edgework.com

So, take a moment and go to your on-board Address Book and create an entry for DSL EdgeWork.

Then, enter all the email addresses listed above. Your email program should allow you to enter as many as you want.

Then, if you are lucky, your email service provider has a button you can press that will synchronize your computer's address book with your providers address book.

If not, you must open the address book on your email service provider's web site and manually add the email addresses listed above.
